4WD still won't work??

4WD still won't work??
I cant' seem to find a schematic, and I even have the huge 2001 Ford dealer shop books on the truck.
I replaced the shift motor and still can't get to 4x4. I have the hubs manually locked in, though one you have to turn with a plier,and I have that on the list to go to manual only.
I guess the problem is in the dash switch or wiring. One harness had a black and white wire... I guess 12v but have no clue. The other is a 6 pin harness.
01, F350 PS auto...4x4.. if working...
