the thing that threw me for a loop was the fact that it was colder saturday, and it fired rite up.

sunday it would not start until i gave it a whiff of WD 40.

anyway, the auto enginuity scan-tool was sitting on the front steps tonight when i got home, so i now have something good to use to diagnose the problem.

i just had a brain fart.
which is the GPR, the front one, or the rear one??

i tested the rear one.

sometimes I can be such an idiot.
after climbing up into the truck, i saw the front relay is the intake air heater.
so i test the rear relay,and everything is good, but still no start.
so i said the heck with it, went to ford and bought a new relay for $75.15, the cheapest around.

i get back to put it in, and the truck started up without wd40 help.


but the new relay is in, and i will see in the morning if that is indeed the problem.

no, i put a ford unit in this time cause they were the cheapest around by more than $15, and i needed to get it running asap.
