Paint Scheme-Stock Or Custom ?
Opinions please......

What paint scheme looks best on these old trucks?

Stock single color or two tone color aka factory

Or Custom modern style, ie: bright single color schemes?

Stock imo....single color if it's a Custom w/no chrome trim, or two-tone if it does have the trim.

I'm doing the body work on my truck and like the 2 tone, like a blue white or black silver, but wanted opinions since i don't want to make the truck's paint look out of place on a classic truck.

I like new colors on the old trucks this color is prowler metalic orange I painted it back in 02

I'm going to go stock when I get mine painted. But you should do whatever you think is cool.

I repainted mine stock color. Picture doesn't do it justice, it looks a little richer and darker in real life.

It's your truck, paint it whatever you want to. Personaly I like the stock look, but not necessarily with a stock color but I can also appreciate custom paint jobs too.

Sad thing about it is, that's only about half of them...
I have 22,181 (And Counting) pictures of '73-'79s in 4 different PhotoBucket accounts

But then again, there's nothing I'd like more than a dead stock sandy-beige XLT dentside, factory everything. Depends on the look you're going for, what you want to do with the truck etc.
