Check the oil level before you cold start it.
You could deplete the hpop res from cranking on it.

Will do but I went real easy trying to start it because I new something was not right and I did not want to kill the batteries. About five weeks ago my CPS went and I cranked the crap out of it killing the batts twice and once I put the new CPS in it started right up. It was sitting for about 4 days before it would not start so if it is draining down it might take a little time but I will keep a eye on it. Can it be a LPOP problem?
Well maybe the problems happen 'most' of the time when you load programs into your truck, but I'll tell you that wasn't my senario. I put my truck on extreme and left it there, over time one thing then another. Finally after all the conventional methods of repairing failed, I completely pulled the edge, and had the local dealer look at the 'stock' program. They said there was deleted and corrupted data and other computer lingo. Anyway once they reflashed it all the weird things went away.

Good thing to know. So far so good with my edge. The only problems I have had with my truck was one CPS went on me and it looks like the problem I am having now is the HPOP rez draining down. I had the edge for at least a year so it looks like I got lucky with mine. For the moment anyway. Thanks for the info.
