There should be a T30 torx bit in the left-middle of the intake. 6 bolts altogether.

There are actually two middle bolts....one you can see on the drivers side in the middle of the plenum, and the torx head bolt that's located in between the runners directly opposite the drivers side middle bolt. You can't see it unless you're looking directly down between the runners.

There's no good tool to get that middle torx head bolt. I ended up making a tool by welding a t30 tip to a long thin rod, then welded a cross piece at the top to make my own t-handle wrench. You need to make it at least ten inches long. I know it sounds like a lot, but it will save a lot of grief.

1/4 rachet with a 8" extension and the 1/4 drive torx will work...

I thought that...until I tried to find a 1/4 inch T30....I'm sure they are out there, but couldn't easily get ahold of one.

Torx bits can be purchased bare meaning without a socket head attached, tape that into a 1/4 drive 1/4" socket with the extension attached.

It's most definitely a T40.I just tore my upper and lower off 2 weeks ago,so the agony of that is still fresh in my head.

You are correct sir. I just checked my tool and it is indeed T40 (hold the comments ). Either way, I can't stress enough how easy and cheap it was to make my own t-handle, or how well it works.
