front end clunk

my 96 f150 4*4 has developed a fun new noise on the front end to make sure I spend some more quality time with her. A loud clunk comes from the front end everytime I turn or step on the brakes after the truck has been sitting. It only clunks once, either when you apply the brakes for the first time or turn left, then drives fine and quiet after that. I have replaced all th U joints, ball joints and radial arm bushings within the last two years and am at a loss on this one? any hints or help would be much appreciated.

You probably already looked at that since the list of things you replaced includes some bushings, but have you checked for worn bushings on your front stabilizer bar and endlinks? I have a Ranger and the endlink bushings are shot. Now the links seem to have two positions they like to sit in. Especially after sitting for a while they clunk pretty nasty. Arguably, I do have some clunking when going over potholes by now; in the beginning it was just the occasional clunk during turning or breaking however. Just a thing to look into if you haven't done so yet.
