My passenger side side marker lens is broken and I was wondering if anyone knows of a place I can get another from. I don't think any of the salvege yards around here have one, and the lenses would probobly be just as brittle as the one I had. (It broke when someone leaned against the truck.) I would repair mine, but it broke into lots of small pieces and I would like a more permanant solution anyway.
J.C. Whitney sells side O.E.M. style replacement side marker lights and rear turn signal/brake lights for older fords. Look in their Ford truck specialty catalog or under "truck restoration parts" section in the main catalog. They were fairly cheap $5.00 ea. I think.
You didn't state the year model but I know they are available at NAPA,Hi-Lo O'reily, etc. under the brands of Signal-Stat and Grote.Of coarse they may not have them in stock, just so they can get it.

I have read a lot about the J.C. Whitney catalog and I was wondering how I could order one. I also need to find a new fan shroud, and the plastic pieces that the marker lens screws into and I'm sure they would have that.
The truck is a '70 F-100 and I did see brake/turn signal lenses for newer ('73 or so and newer) trucks at Hi-Lo. I didn't have much time, so I'll have to see how much they are if I order one from them.
Another idea is Macs Antique Auto parts ( www.macsautoparts.com ) or Dennis Carpenter reproductions ( www.dennis-carpenter.com ). Both have online catalogs you can browse to see if they have what you are looking for.
