Warranty???

Hey guys, I have a about a month left on my warranty on my 05 6.0 and I am wondering what kind of warranty options there are out there. I know the one from ford is around $2500.00 and is good for another 100k but only another 24 months. And yes, I know that is a lot less than any number of repairs. I am just wondering what kind of options I have. Thanks in advance.

I have the same dilema, Bought this truck with intentions of using it during my retirement years to pull RV. Warranty runs out on extended warranty next month. Does the 100,000 engine warranty run till 100,000 or does it run out in so many years also? Have papers in truck but have 5" of snow on the ground so not wanting to go out.
I also realize $2500,00 for 7yr, 200,000 is a drop in the bucket if something bad happens to the engine.
Being on SS and not well off by any means the decision is still a weighty one.
The decision is mine but any comments would be appreciated.

Engine warranty is 5 years from date of service, sell date, or 100,000 miles. Which ever comes 1st.

Just to clarify the extended warranty is 2 years or 100K miles which extends the total warranty period to 7 years or 200K miles.
