I am using Powerstop slotted rotors and their ceramic pads .. so far, after 3 years no problems what so ever.. no warpage and the rotors look like new.. Stopping performance is better than original.. and no brake dust to deal with.. and the pads are wearing good, lots of pad left.

I was checking out those Powerstops, great deal if you ask me plus the warranty Clint mentioned. Some guys here have mentioned not using ceramic pads with our heavy trucks, at least thats what I heard, grain of salt thing.

I have had my Powerslots on for 7 years with no issues. Swapped the Hawk pads out once, but only to go with the SD series.

Having a warranty on a brake component is pretty risky. These "lifetime" brake parts a joke IMO. They are just marketing them hoping that you lose the receipts or sell the vehicle. Just the nature people drive (my wife included) would make me cringe at having much of a warranty on brakes.

Hey Ken, speaking of warranties, I have lifetime brake pad replacement from Auto Zone, been that way ever since I've owned both my vehicles. Its great but I don't think they offer it anymore, obvious reasons.

I am using EBC yellowstuff's on stock rotors and they work as well or better in all conditions than any others I have tried.

I just put on the Powerstop slotted rotors and HAWK LTS pads and like them both. I have only put about 1000 miles on them, but, so far so good. I made sure to break them in, which is important from what I have read. The truck definitely stops A LOT better.

Didn't want to sound like the lifetime warranty is not needed, just most people get hung up on having a lifetime warranty, but find they have to replace those parts more often. I also have lifetime parts on my cars, including brake pads but I wouldn't ignore a product like the Powerslot rotors over a warranty.

Seems like anymore almost every part offered comes with a lifetime warranty.
