I have a 2003 F250 wit 7.3 liter FX4, abot two months ago my fog light and switch indicator stopped working. It all start after replace the ****y Stereo (6 Disc charger). Bulbs are good, but light won't work. I was told to have the Lighting control module and vehicle sucurity module scanned for fault codes. Before i spend 100 plus on this scanning are there any checks i can do? Thanks Robbie
I'm sorry you haven't gotten a reply to your post yet. Sometimes posts get burried when it's busy here, but generally someone jumps in when the right member runs across a new post.
I would check the switch and plug harness after you've confirmed the bulbs are ok. How did you confirm the bulbs are good?
If you happen to be near a wrecker yard (or have a friend with a similar truck) you could simply pull a used switch unit and plug it into your truck to test. They pop out very easily.
I'm sure someone will chime in soon enough for you. Just need to wait for the right member to run across your post.

Maybe you can borrow your friends switch to test. Or you can also plug yours into his harness.
Either way you'll know if your switch is good or bad and go from there.
