For our centerpieces, we want to among other things have a jar, filled with water, water that is cloudy, and have lights in the water to sort of make it glow. So do you guys have any recommendations on how to do the lighting? the battery pack need to be hidden in the flowers that are also in the jar. I was thinking LED Christmas lights powered by 3 or 4 of those little coin sized batteries.
a LED from radio shack will work.you can buy them in a few colors, or with proper resistors, make any color you want. they will run for days on a small coin battery, or a month on 2aa's.
Well we were thinking about 10 lights per jar. My main concern was keeping the current in the wires and lights and not have it traveling through the water.
Probably have a hard time making the water cloudy and non-conductive. I'll experiment with plasti dip and hot glue. Thanks for the input, I have a truck one next time. lol.
i do landscaping check your local landscape supply they should have a couple different colors of dyes that are safe for small fish pounds if not a little sand will cloud it
