OK so I ran the numbers today and Summit may get my business... It was $540 for the local guy to sell me a kit with his Erson Cam (moly rings and flat pistons 8.7:1 compresson) in it. Not sure the entire kits contents may not have had lifters or timing or 1 piece oil pan gasket... Any how I called Summit...

Flat pistons (compresson boosted to 9.17-1 with 63cc head... not sure if 63cc is stock?????)

All for $660... $120 more than local machine shop but I get all the parts I want... May not be in budget for headers now but I can do that later.
Thanks guys for making me check myself before I did something stupid! I am wondering what kind of HP boost I will get from this combo if I put headers on, eliminate the cat, and run 2.5 in exhaust... I think this will all work under my SD limitations... any thoughts???
good! I didn't get any replies so I just ordered it all. I added a Melling Heavy Duty Intermediate Drive Shaft to replace the stock oil pump shaft. Also, 2 qts of Royal purple break in oil and a Moroso oil priming extention for my drill only b/c the engine might sit for a month or so till I get the money to do the C6 tranny).
