alright so i started my truck before work, seemed to have started ok, then came back after a 10 minute warm up and it was loping somewhat good, so i figued my cusin left it in extreme or something when he dropped it off. so i reved it to clear it up like usual and it went skip skip skip miss! here we go! i got to work after limping my butt over there and scanned for codes but nothing. and the dbags at the shop owuldnt let me use the good scanner for a buzz test aosduolsaoresiutq!%$%. so im going down tomorro at the other shop for a buzz test, im hoping its a solenoid and not a hole injector, which have 4000 miles on since the stage 1 rebuild.
i unplugged each bank of injectors 1 at a time then restarted, shut off and then tried another one. got worse each time so i cant tell which injector it is. and the harness looks good with no burnt pins?
what does a solenoid go for on an injector? jim if your out there in internet land, do you sell them?
btw rich youi left your handy little netbook in my truck, hence this post lol
That is possible since only two of the pins on each harness are for the injectors. If one pin goes bad it doesn't mean that the others are too. I'm not real elec. smart but you should ohm out the connections. Someone smart tell him what they should read. I'm not one. Jim says that the sylenoids rarely go bad on these trucks but its possible.
Azzzzzzhole lol. I was wondering where in gods creation this thread came from. It was really messin with me for a minute there. My money is is the purple stripe retaliating..... Lol
Ok so we brought the truck down to my shop and we used my bosses scanner and came up with 3 codes. P0238 Turbocharger boost sensor A circuit high, and then the trouble makers came with the Buzz test. P1272 and P1277 Cyl. 2 and 7 High to Low side open. We looked it up on Alldata and found those to be the UVCH, is this correct? And how should we go about testing them?
