PLATINUM MIRROR SWAP ? HELP
DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SWAPPING MIRRORS ON A F150 PLATINUM ? I TOOK THE TOW MIRRORS OFF AND PUT THE POWER FOLD ON ,REPLACED THE SWITCH IN THE DOOR PANEL TO THE POWER FOLD SWITCH.ALSO UPGRADED THE #12 FUSE TO A 7.5 AMP.ALL BUT THE FOLD WORKS.I CALLED TWO DEALERS TODAY THEY KNOW NOTHING BUT WILL GET BACK TO ME HOPEFULLY TOMORROW ? I SAW A FEW OTHER POSTS BY OTHER MEMBERS ON THIS AND OTHER FORUMS WHO SEEM TO HAVE SUCCEDED WITH THE SWAP BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THEM. IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE PLEASE RESPOND.ALSO ,IS THERE A DIRECT # TO FORD FOR THINGS LIKE THIS ?

1st off,sorry about the caps in my 1st post.after posting it i was told people think your yelling when you type in caps.not sure why but never the less i'm sorry'
the mirrors came off ebay from a 2010 king ranch, the guy put tow mirrors on his.i paid 220 fir the pair a great deal.if you go to ford i was told tasca ford most likely has the best prices.the switch cost $11 . i dont know how much ir will cost to finish the job if any $ at all.i will definately post a detailed how to when i figure it all out.if you do it good luck.FYI,the actual swap is a breeze.
