What would it take?
*NOTE THIS IS A HYPOTHETIC QUESTION!*
Using the 09-10 F150 as a base what do you think it would take to get a 6.4L diesel or the new 6.7L plus 6 speed TorqueShift tranny in a F150 package?
My two guesses to start it off.
Frame and engine mount reinforcements.
Slightly upgraded front axles.

Impossible. The 6.4L hood and grill were widely opened up to accommodate the larger engine and allow it to sufficiently cool.

Well it was worth asking.
Though I wonder if you used a ram air hood if that would give you enough cooling?
Either way the grill issue is probably the biggest issue in terms of cooling.

the super duty cab is wraped around the motor,not leaving much room, thats why they take the cab off to do any motor work on them and as for the histroy of the 6.4

If I could get away with that engine in a F150. (hell any F-series)
Enough power to tow damn near anything and enough horsepower and torque that around town I could sit in 1st or 2nd gear and get decent city mileage.
