tires and gears

i have 305's. what gears do i need?

we are going to need more than just 305. thats how wide they are. the second number goes with it in telling how tall it really is. how tall is what really matters

sorry bout that i was in a hurry writing it. they are 305/70r17 maxxis big horns. i noticed when i got bigger tires it was suckin all my gas. so is there anything i can do to help it. i keep hearing something about gears but i have no idea what that means. im a F/A-18 engine mech, not a car mech. hahaha
