well I have looked all over for the plug for the fog light harness and can't find it but when I do does anyone know where the post is to convert it to stay on with the high beams?
The old cut one wire ground it and done high beams on with fog doesn't work for 08 and up. There is a proposed way to do it I would have to find the post I am to much of a chicken shat to try it on my truck but if you want to try it and it works I'll do it to I'll try and find the post.

should just be a round 4 pin connector just inside your driver side headlight...
well I pulled the drivers side headlight and there is no plug any where I called the dealer and they said to bring it in and they would dig it out for me
my truck had a plow installed for me when I bought it and I think it got lost somewhere under the hood? its got an isolation modual that when you plug the lights in from the plow it switches the truck lights off and turns the plow lights on its a mess of wires behind the headlight
I had a Boss brand plow installed on mine and it has a switch in the cab to go from truck to plow for headlights. The Bright Box I have will still turn on the fog lights even if it's in the "Plow" position. Here's a link.....
They also have something they call a "Bulbzilla" kit which will allow 9005/9006 or H9/H11 swaps.
Other folks make a heavy duty harness that gives you higher voltage to the bulbs for more light output. There are several options available to get better light output, which seems to be what you're after...
