ELC Purchase

Where did you buy your elc from? And was it full strength? Getting ready for a flush, switchover.

Bought mine at a Chevron outlet.

You need the concentrate because after the flush, you'll still have about 4 gallons of distilled/deionized water in the block.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm gonna do the concentrate when I do it, just debating on a new stat & billet housing.

Stat etc

Now is the time to do hoses as well if they look rough, can get the hose for dual alternators that goes over the belt too so you dont have to remove hose to do belt later. I know it costs more, but do it all, and pretty much forget it for the next 3 years or more.

just my .02 cents

I wouldn't do the 203, but nothing wrong with going with a new 'stat while you're there. Those that went with the 203 don't notice any difference, or very little at best. I have a 192 in mine -- put there by the dealer when I first got the truck and the old one was stuck open.

That hose can be picked up pretty cheap at NAPA. part # NBH 9066

You will need the two screw-type hose clamps as well.
