I am wondering if installing this device will affect the Banks kit i have installed. I am not sure if the banks powerpack kit already does what this device does.
I regularly run 25-28psi on my guages when towing uphill and it does seem to lose some power at that high range. I am wondering if this would help the motor out but i don't want to add anything that will affect the Banks powerpack kit installed.
I have a 2003 F250 7.3L, Crewcab 4X4 with the banks powerpack installed, exhaust brake, transcommand, remote start, and K&N airfilter.
I believe this is only going to help fool the pcm into thinking its not boosting more than 25 psi if you go over that it will not set a cel on your dash..So i dont think it will help you. Does it feel like its defueling? What are your boost numbers when this happens?More knowledgable people will be along....Just saw you posted you are 25-28 psi. I believe it might be defueling from what ive read in the past. Not sure though.I know with a dp tuner the no codes tunes prevents defueling.

If your Service Engine Light is not coming on then the computer is not defueling.
Thanks, the engine light does not come on. It may just be perception on my part that it loses some power after reaching that boost pressure. I still pull my trailor just fine but i didn't know if installing this device would help anything.
I would say that it really isn't going to help anything. Just remember, diesels don't make all there power at 3000 RPMs. More like about 2000 to 2500 RPMs.
