I am going receive and start installing the PowerPack tomorrow, have pulled the stock exhaust system and fixed all the broken studs. Any advice for an install on a 99 F53 V10 would be most welcome. Is the Banks manual a good manual or does it leave a lot to the imagination? Thanks.
Never installed one... looked a dozens under trucks over the last 7 years...appears to be standard install with no suprises....I understand from several old timers who are mechanically challenged that the Banks 800 number help desk was exceptionally patient, polite, and helpfull...HTH
I did the installation. The banks manual is spot on complete with pictures. Very easy to follow. Good thing aboutt he banks kit is your broken stud problem will be a thing of the past. They use bolts instead.
personaly the most agrivating part was the passanger side header. the way the tubes are formed the last exhaust tube kinda has them crammed in there. get a friend with little hands, hahah!
other than that, the instructions are pretty darn good. the best thing to do is strt the project on a sat or some day that your not rushed to complete it or you won't get to work tipe thing. just incase you have an issue that you have to run to the parts store, or something.
don't have any pics sorry. but it's not to bad of an install.
