Inquiring minds

Been wondering how much does a powerstroke longblock wiegh?Also the 5.9cummins and duramax if any nows those.Have been curiuos.

Approx

Duramax 837 - 1180
Cummins 1100-1175
Ford 920-966

Depends on varible weight add on or not i.e. oil in etc

Maybe some has more info. I was suprized at these numbers.

Thanks DRRXR,I thought it might be more. Now I know I asked for long block but would that be a bare long block no hpop,resevior,front cover i guess I'm curios how much when pulled out of a truck just roughly??

Was always told we have the lightest engine out there. IDK anything about numbers, but was always told the Stroke is the lightest.

i took a pretty bare 7.3 block to the scrapyard a couple months ago all it had was crank and pistons and cam shaft and couple other internal parts, and weighed 680 pounds, I know this since i seperated the load since this was considered heavy steel,
