I decided to take the 96 listed below.I ran 75mph.most of the time on the way there and back.I checked my fuel mileage for the interstate driving and it worked out to 14.25 for the trip.Needless to say I'm pretty happy with this figure considering it's a big block.Other than running at a pretty good clip I managed to behave myself with the gas pedal just to see what kind of mileage this thing could get when I'm not towing anything and keep the pedal away from the floorboard.

Last but not least it's good to be back and be able to read all that's been going on.

That's some pretty respectable mileage for a big ole 460!

 

That isn't bad MPG at all!

Amazing what happens when you keep your foot out of it... just wish that I could.

 

I had went to milwaukee and back with my PSD and didn't do as good as I should have. But I was on and off the pedal. anywhere from 65 to near 90 with no consisdent speed. I didn't get a good milage number but I did get 550 miles before refueling.

Going down at 65-70 mph and back at 75 mph with some 4 wheeling thrown in and 2 track dirt roads, gravel roads, etc. Overall mileage was 13.7 mpg.
