Snowed In

I know we have neighbors but I can't see them this morning. I can still see the street light though because it is still on.

It finally drifted in around here. Got places with 3ft drifts. But Can still get out of my place with some work. Drivway is clear. Just some drifts around the house and the parked cars.
I rather stay home than go to work tomorrow.
I don't think we got it as bad as you did down your way Collin.

Got your Bobcat running Glen? I bought a blade for mine and it`s great for plowing snow.

It`s a bummer about having no block heater with a diesel engine, I don`t imagine it starts too well that way.

Yeah will have to tarp it over and heat it again. Right now with all the wind blowing it will not do me any good clearing til it settles some.

It still hasn't let up yet, so will have to wait before I can start cleaning out the driveway.

I see there is a blizzard warning for southern sask. That should make the sledders happy.

Well did a run to Delisle for some Milk and bread. Got stuck just backing up from where the car was parked. Got stuck again in front of the house where the snow was a foot deep. Then made my way out. Got on the road. Lots of snow drifts that want to send the car sideways. Got to a paved road to Delisle. lots of drifts and in places only one vehicle at a time could travel.
Made it to town. Several semi's stopped waiting it out. People in the hotel waiting it out to drive. Several cars in the ditch between Delisle and Saskatoon.
Got back home. The roads almost snowed in. Neighbor came out with his ATV with asnow blade and plowed my drive in front of the house and behind the cars. . I maybe able to get out of my yard. But it will be another question to get to the highway and work tomorrow. It seems the wind is picking up and throwing the snow in bigger piles.

The snow is up past my waist now and there is no sign of it letting up. On a good note, i am getting lots of little jobs out of the way.

Same here. Cleaned the area in The dining room to start the reno of putting in a bookcase divider between the livingroom and diningroom. Have to relocate ductwork. Then tear out old divider. It will be nice to get something done in the house this winter.
