P0683 code with TS Performance flip chip

Where were you in 2010! I liked the TS chip with it's dial to change tunes. From others in this thread it sounds like this is the issue:
"This is a TS chip for a truck or Excursion with the Glow Plug Control module. If you don't have a GPCM, then you will get this alarm until the chip is reprogrammed for a vehicle with a Glow Plug Relay."
