That is a point that I didnt think of...

Funny thing is that when I camp and ride in Atlanta, MI i go to the DNR post 10 miles away and get a free permit to use anyone of 100+ gas wells as my own private campsite. They don't even record which one i use... and Ive seen weeks where the sites are almost all used.

But like you said, it may depend on the sensitivity of the local or state government.

That wasnt stuck. It could have been like this.

It took a 200hp John deer tractor to pull it out. Once it was out I found this.

What did you do to your T case?

I hate when you drop a truck to the axles, makes it so hard to get out.

Yeah that's the thing, we figured it was illegal because of a few things...Power lines, gravel roads, we were in people's back yards...and the no trespassing signs.

But we kept going in anyways...bad decision.

This isn't really a normal mudding spot. It just looked kind of fun.

I don't know if you have ever been near the Chagrin area in Ohio. It is about a half hour east of Cleveland.

The only good spots around are some gravel pits, a few fields and back yards and Yankee Lake.

The really interesting part about these lines is that they have been known to call the national guard on people back there and have them arrested at gun point for just having a little fun.

The mirror cover has been broken since I bought the truck.

The stuck happend at night. We were riding the turn rows before dark lookig for a place to hunt the next day. I am not familar with the area. i was trusting my friend. i don't know why we took that turn thru the field.

The only thing I can figure on the transfer case breaking is that some how it got binded up in the mud while pulling it out. The front end quit pulling while we were pulling it out. I figured I broke a ujoint or something. i wasn't that lucky.

rbloodhound: Are those AT's or MT's you got stuck in? If MT's was it a clay field?

I used to work in Cleveland for a Grand Rapids, Michigan based dredging company. We dug the mouth and upper shipping channel of the Cuyahoga and used the earth and sludge to extend the property of the private waterfront airport in Cleveland. Burke I think it was called, I could be wrong, its been a few years?
So I am familiar with the area, I was just asking where you were that the Nat. Guard took interest, I dont want to have a similar experience while being up there goofing around some day.

Thats disheartening... I have STT 275/70's. They are greasy on the road and oviously dont clean out that well. I miss my BFG MT's more everyday.

Yeah that was Burke.

Basically anywhere you see high voltage lines strung through corn fields or national parks or anything is where you want to stay out of.
To be specific, it was the trail between Washington Street and Bell Street in South Russel and Bainbridge. Not that it would help you much.

I should have known by the Signs that said "No Trespassing: Violators WILL be Prosecuted."

My dumb mistake was just getting caught.
