turbo pedestal sensor??

I was removing my turbo and it slipped a broke off the sensor on the front of the pedestal. will someone please tell me what it is for.. Thanks

What year truck do you have? If its a 7.3, I'd say its the connector for the EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve).

Yes, that is the EBP valve solenoid.

I was thinking about just going ahead and doing a blank setup. Do you guys recommend that??

You can do it or get the pedistal that already has the whole thing removed. Come on over to the 7.3 section and pick our brains.
