Yeah, I knew a guy who had a 85 Camaro with the 2.5 4cyl...........I am quite sure a sick 2.3 Mustang would have run circles around him on his best day.........SLOW!!!
I guess it was for people who just wanted to say, "I drive a CAMARO!"
Toyota should have stopped manufacturing ALL vehicles in 2007. Look at them now, recall after recall after recall, and now that can't even sell anything.
Believe it or not, if I had some spare money I wouldn't mind finding a nice '72/74 Gremlin. Can't explain it, but for some strange reason I like those things.

I'm sure they will be back to the top before long.
I think you forgot about one iteration of the Charger that wasn't so "kickin'"...at least the new one is RWD and has a V8!
Although, those old FWD 80's chargers were available with a turbo 2.2 and you could make them pretty fast from what I've heard.
</yawn>
I had forgotten all about those models. I mean I see them on the street and all, but never connected the dots that those were Dodge Chargers. I bet you could swap out the motor and put something beefy in there - make a great street racer.
You mean no one has mentioned the AMC Pacer or Mopar K-car?? They were junk when they drove them off the assembly line. But someone will chirp up and say they were a great car.
Does that mean that the "500 miles on a quart of oil is acceptable consumption" for the Northstar V8 days are over?.............I could not believe it when I heard this from GM!.....I have had tired old Fords with 200,000 miles on them that did not even approach that kind of consumption of oil.
Eh most manufactures say 1 quart / 500 miles is acceptable believe it or not. Ford and Dodge both say it - even for their V8 engines.

Well my Plymouth is a AP body which is an extended K-car platform. I bought this thing new in 93 and it's nothing fancy and slow as hell but the only major thing ever to go wrong with it was the wiper motor died at 183k miles. They are still better than the junk Chrysler makes now in terms of reliabliity. My cheap *** interior is way more luxurious than say a Caliber which is nothing but hard plastic.
