I happned to be looking in the rear view mirror while going over a snow and ice filled street and I noticed that the box of the truck had some movement to it. I dont mean that it was about to rattle of the frame but there was some movement. It is tough to explain. The box of the truck seems solid when i was pushing and pulling on it. It is like a shake. Has anyone else noticed this in there 09?
The frame has to have some flex in it and therefore the bed will shake to some degree. Follow a GM, Dodge or a Toy over a bumpy road or a set of RR tracks and they tail wagging and bed shaking is much worse than ours.
stormsearch i have watched that video a couple times before, and I will tell you that mine is nothing like that. Like I said earlier that it seems to have a shake to it when going over ruts or bumps.
That's typical of any truck, as mentioned it's the separation between the cab and bed. I can tell you every truck I've installed my big weatherguard tool box in it has taken a lot of the shake out by adding some extra strength.
thats typical. i have followed my step dad going down a rough road at low speeds and seen his 09 shake around a little. but not nearly as bad as some chevys and toyotas i have been behind also.
