I have been chasing a vibration on my 99 in what I think is the driveline. It is worst between 40 and 50 and can feel it in the floorboard and SOTP. So far I have replaced the carrier bearing and had the rear driveshaft balanced and u-joints replaced to no avail. Tonight I jacked one side up at a time and ran it, the vibration was still there by doing it that way. It seemed like I could hear more of a noise with the drivers side jacked up than on the passenger side. So I took the cover off the rear diff to see if I could come up with anything. There is a noticeable amount of up and down movement on the inside bearing especially on the drivers side and some side to side movement. Has anyone experienced this before? How much if any movement should there be? Any write ups on how to R&R or what to look for? As always any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
