I should leave out the "normal" part.

Basically. soft and easy.

ahhh ok. i just see lots of guys ride the clutch on their tractors. LoL. with this clutch it's going to grab and go, not gonna slip much so your letting off real slow deal is gonna be trumped by the nature of the clutch, in that i mean once the disc touches it's gonna want to go. in order for a smooth disengagment i have to let out easy til it grabs a little then go ahead and come all the way off it. if i try to let out nice, slow, and smooth like a stock clutch it will rattle my teeth around. haha. u will see once you put it in. haha.

I probably make it sound worse than it is, but it's nothing like a stock clutch or an organic replacement.

Thats the part that sucked worse for me.

Farm has the right idea when taking off the old DMF. Just make sure you dont use baling string.

William...DONT BE CHEAP!!! get a trans jack. I had your same attitude and tried with a floor jack. nope didnt happen. at least not with me with a dirt floor. harbor freight has them for $125. hooks for chains/strap and tilting head.

Oh and I left the transfer case attached.

Also disconnected the exhaust at the muffler and turbo. got all that crap outta there. It will make life so much easier for you.

Theres probly much more I'm forgetting

Alright. My clutch came in today.
I'll have a full write up on my website when I'm not drunk.

Anyways.

here is the clutch and some pictures of the buttons. I lowered the quality so i can get them uploaded. High quality ones will be for the website.

I am offering for one time only.
I will take any pictures for the valair set for anyone that they request if they want a specific picture.

This is really a nice set.

And where the hell did you guys get your made in china boxes?
I got Flat Black incognito boxes. hehe.

I ordered a Kevlar Ceramic clutch.
The greenish ones are the kevlar buttons and the other ones are the ceramics.
I thought the close ups would be nice.

looks like they changed the way they did the kevlar facings. on mine the kevlar facings went all the way around the rivets like the ceramic facings do. yours don't, also mine had the hub that had all green big azz springs, yours has the other one.

2 others. They were doing 1.

The Kevlar is soft too. When I was looking around on it on the board here, i was flipping it over. I hope i didn't screw it up. It looks like it got squished on the end, but i cannot physically see any bump up on it.
*shrugs*. =*(

Well, if anyone cares.
Its in, and I have 330 miles on it.

SMF lets you know all the things that are falling apart on your trans. DOH!

The DMF takes up all the vibrations from the motor.
With the SMF in there, the vibrations all go to the trans.
So basically, cause of the aluminum case, the trans resonates all the sounds from the motor, its just really loud on my truck.
Some trucks you wont ever hear a difference.

Gonna put in more fluid here in about... 5 minutes.
Gotta play musical vehicles and get the truck in the garage and get the shifter out and check the T-case to fill that up for the fluid i lost when i almost lost the trans on the Jack. haha.

Yea, if anyone recomends getting a trans jack for this job. Go get one.
I did okay without it, but it was a pain with the style of jacks that I had.
I used 3 jacks to get the trans in, and 2 to get it out.
Once I had it up on the cross member, it was easy.
Just slipped in while i turned the drive shaft.
