alright heres the story, i have a 89 f350 dually with a efi 460 and auto tranny. I want to put this engine in my jeep, what bellhousing do I need to bolt a t19 manual tranny behind it?
You need a bellhousing with the large bellhousing pattern that was used with a T-18, T-19, or NP435 transmission. There are hydraulic and mechanical clutch versions of this bell so make sure you get the right one for your jeep or else plan on converting it with the swap if it's mechanical.
Bellhousings don't have casting numbers like engine blocks do (that I'm aware of, anyway) and I don't know why you would need a part number unless you're ordering one from Ford. Besides ebay and craigslist check out your local junkyard. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is also a good resource. A lot of junkyards have computerized inventory and you can search it at that site.
Since the input shaft on your trans is longer than the transmissions they list, this probably isn't going to help you unless you run into a real problem finding or using a stocker, or have reason to need a scattershield.
