i have a dumb question. Are the bellhousings the same between a 5.4 and a diesel? Thanks.
Yes and no. It depends on which diesel you're talking about. The bellhousing on a 6.0L and 6.4L is the same as a 5.4L. I think the 6.7L is the same, too, but I don't know for sure. The bellhousing for the 7.3L is NOT the same.
