I usually buy Procomp ES5000's IIRC they are the same thing as a rancho rs 5000 but cheaper since rancho makes the shocks for procomp they sell em under a differnt name and price.
I just put Bilstein's on my 96' F250 gotta tell you I love em' I had the Ranchero 9000's I couldn't get the ride rite to many adjustables to figure out just my opinion and I had them on for 2 yrs. they were plum wore out when i changed them yesterday I paid 255$ for the Blistein's
there are 2 different part numbers for front and rear's.
the hydro's are standard hydraulic shocks, the nitro's are nitrogen filled. nitros are a much more consistant and higher performance shock
ah...hence the nice ride in front we have now the rear shocks (and batteries and starter) are next in line. i'm thinkin about trying eBay to save a few dollars if i can find a pair that's new...hope that's a safe way to go
dont think you will get much cheaper then summit for the shocks. i got all 4 on mine tonight along with new steering stabilizer shocks.... holy crap what a difference going from the hydro's to the nitros! on road was a totaly different rid e so i took it across the field. had the truck up to 50 across the corn field bouncing away. the ride was great
