What is this doo-a-ma-hickey

I have been wondering for ever what the little plastic hook is on the lower dash right under my pull-out cup holders. I originally thought it was a sunglass holder but none of my pairs have sat in it very well. Also I tried the 2-stroke oil additive and it sounds like im driving a gas motor, simply amazing!

I've heard it called a garbage bag holder. I usually deposit my garbage over my shoulder into my supercab.

In the early 99's they had a pull out ash tray there... In 99.5 when they changed the cup holder which included the ash tray, they could not come up with a better idea then what you see...

A completely worthless filler piece. LOL

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't know what that hook was for.
Nice to know I'm not stupid!! (I do wonder sometimes though)
