I found it! The one way valve was broken and down where I couldn't see it exactly where you said. The Ford dealership wants $25 for the valve and the vac tube that goes with it, but I'll try to find one at the junk yard.
Thank you for your help. I really appreciate the guidance. I'll reply after the first of the week when I get paid and can go shopping. I have some other issues as well.
