THOUGHT MY POST WAS MY OWN. HIJACKING? NEVER OCCURRED TO ME, DON'T SEE THE POINT IN THAT. I USE ALL CAPS BECAUSE I'M 70 AND CAN BARELY SEE WHEN USING ALL CAPS. UNLESS THERE IS SOME HARD FAST RULE ABOUT IT, OR YOU ARE THE MANAGER OF THIS SITE, THINK YOUR OPINION ABOUT "SHOUTING" MIGHT BE JUST YOURS? DIDN'T COME ON HERE TO BE LECTURED OR DEBATE WITH ANYONE. JUST TRYING TO HELP OTHERS IN MY SAME SITUATION AND GET SOME HELP MY OWN SELF. MORE PHOTOS WOULD HELP. APPRECIATE THE QUICK RESPONSE AND HELPFUL LINKS.

That's not his "opinion", that's just internet courtesy that's been around since the days of 28.8kbps dial up modems.
And unless you clicked "Start a new thread", you tacked your post of the end of an existing thread. There's no need to create continuity in a 13 year old threads.
Trying to diagnose and repair vehicles over the internet is not an easy task. Simple, clear, easy-to-read sentences with proper punctuation is important. TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS DISRUPTIVE.
Youre a new member here, asking for help. We are here to help you fix your problem FOR FREE. The least you can do is follow some standard internet courtesies.

I also linked you to a thread that has the same symptoms you're describing. Did you read it?

I am a bit older than @EMacD and I solved the issue by getting pair of "Readers" about a 3.0 power.
I have a stubborn old friend who types in cap's regardless of how many times he is reminded..
Not my circus, Not my monkeys.

Back to the head light issues.
Looking at the photo's there is a ton of Up-fitter wires and connectors at the battery terminal..... Why ? Are you running stuff in the camper off of the battery? If so, put a battery in the camper.
On several of my older model Ford trucks I found "after market" relays that ran an assortment of things like head lights, work lights, stereo equipment.
I hate to suggest adding more electrical components.... but .... You may have to install a relay off of your head light switch that controls the head lights only. Feed that relay directly off the battery and your head lights will get max amps.
alternator issue is probably due to the "load" being put on it. Can you get a test device similar to an Amprobe to read amps being pulled at the alternator?

Just a few ideas.. Don't kill the messenger.
