Embarassing question:

Really dumb I think but - How does one remove the HPOP lines?
Is there a special tool or procedure?

To remove the lines you need a "special" tool, or make your own like most on here do. I took a 1/2" wrench and ground the open end down to a point at the ends, and up to 1/8th" at where the handle meets the open end, that gives you a nice gradual bevel. You carefully wedge your "tool" in between the QD halves on the line, and as you insert it, you wanna start to push-pull the line, til you evnetually have the tool inserted a good ways and the line will pop off, may take some force so don't get too discouraged.

Thank you all very much!
And thanks to Guzzle for maintaining that information online, too.

Made my own also. Then had to replace both fittings in HPOP due to broken spring in fitting. International dealer has all the parts.

I just use two flat screwdrivers. A little cumbersome, but it's not worth the effort/expense in my case for a special tool.

I also used screwdrivers. Took me about 10 seconds to pop each line off.
