I have a 2001 PSD F-250. I just bought it over the weekend and I'm working on getting all the previous owners bugs worked out, then on to doing a few simple mods.
I don't want to get too crazy, but I will tow with it. Afterall it is a truck!!

I've seen a lot of posts here that people consider the DP as the 1st choice, but so far nothing to really understand why.

Bigcat350,

I explained in my post that the voltage OB code is not taken care of in the codes tunes. Have you checked to see which Overboost code you are setting? Are you seeing over 36 psi of boost in any of your tunes? If you are and need it set higher so it's not triggered, Jody can do that for you.

Lately for some reason a few people have become much more "vocal" about being anti-DP for whatever reason. I don't know if it's a culture change now or if no one wants to fuel the fire and try to discuss it for fear of arguing and flaming. But if you look a little harder you will still find most here love their DP, new threads pop up all the time about the excitement of having just added a DP Tuner. The reasons are many, and go beyond just the power the chip makes. Customer service, the push button switch, live tuning around the country, the way he makes the transmission shifts, his decel tune, and on and on.
It's still best to get the codes tunes because it does fix more than just the overboost code. Just add an OBA and be happy! Generally the guys with big oil and sticks seem to be the ones looking in to things.

Some get tired of people blowing motors... Then blowing again... Then going CR...

Some get tired of changing motors...

Some get tired of people saying there beef steak is the best, yet they have never tried the joint across the street...

Thanks Diane
Yes I can get over 36psi of boost on 3 tunes fairly easy. But my CEL comes on at close to 25-27psi and this is the codes I have.
P0238 Turbo Boost Sensor A Circuit High Input
P1280 ICP Circuit Out of Range Low
I guess I need to send my chip in and get it updated when I can stand a week of down time.
