Thanks , I'm dropping it off tomorrow to have it hooked up and checked out,..long crank to start cold and a bit of blueish smoke, and hopefully they will give me the latest flash, but other than that it runs great, I want it allready for camping season.
I'll ask about the Flashes,
Thanks, Rich

Warning...I think I just got burned today...the dealer didn't know if their software was up-to-date. Definately ask the Service Advisor to perform TSB 09-24-3, and use only IDS release 63.13 or higher or 64.01 or higher. Your new strategy code should be VXCF9.
I'm taking my 03 in for this on wednesday, I have not had any flashes done since 04 so my question is... are the updates from all previous codes included in this new flash, or do I need to do them in order?
I just picked up my truck from the dealer tonite and they told me I needed a new Fuel injection timing sensor, which they replaced under warranty and they updated the calibrations to the latest for my truck in sig. which was 11/2/09...tsb 09-22-16, under warranty. They said it was very similiar to tsb 09-24-3 everyone's talking about.
anyone know what tsb 09-22-16 contains for my "06''
and what does the injection timing sensor do ? (technically)
Is there any benifits to the newest flash? Or is it just more bad mileage!
fuel milage has stayed the same on gone up for most. I dont know what you think is bad though the truck will always get better then the window sticker stated.
lots of new stuff in the last flash. I posted the tsb for it just use the search function.
