Truck/Trailer connector issues

I tried to search but found nothing on this, sorry for the long explanaiton but i am lost. I have a 06 F150 SCREW brake controler and use both the 4 pin and the 7 pin connector. The problem i am having is effecting both connectors so i am thinking it is something with the truck.

Everything was working fine till about 2 weeks ago i have a LED mounted below my tail gate that uses the 4 pin connector and the bar lights up when lights turned on but have no right blinker or brake light right side and just noticed yesturday that my trailer was the same way lights on rear lights both sides but no blinker or brake light on right hand side checked the connecter at the truck and all looks fine any ideas what might be causing this.

Lights on truck brake and blinker work fine.

Thanks for any help provided.

Check the connections under your truck feeding your seven pin and four pin connectors. Sounds like you have a loose or broken connection.

If your LED bar feeds through your trailer connector(and your truck's brake/signal lights work) then you have a bad fuse in the SJB. You problably popped a fuse towing something. Check fuse F.36(20 amp mini) in the passenger kick panel fuse box. I believe that fuse is on the very top of the fuse box in the middle?? Not 100% sure on that location in the fuse box though...

The trailer tow connectors have individual fused circuits to protect the operation of the trucks main lights incase of a problem on the towed vehicles wiring/lighting.

I was just about to say the same thing.

I had the unfortunate experience of having worked at Bubba's T-N-T for a few years in the installation department and that was a common occurrence.

I hope this helps,
