drive shafts
ok i got a 1991 f 150 ext cab short bed with a 4 speed in it.. which had a auto tranny in it.. and i have a 1987 f150 reg cab long bed. and neither one of the drive shafts is long enough so i wanted to see what truck i could get one out of to fit. i guess the best one would be a ext cab short bed with a four speed in it but for some reason people tell me there is not many of them so any help?

Unfortunately I've never found a good listing of shaft lengths. The best route is to take a tap measure to a junkyard and ask to look at their pile of drive shaft assemblies.
Note that if the shaft you need is longer than the mid 50's long it will be a two piece shaft.

i did that the other day and only found two piece shafts.. but got home and was lookin around and noticed how much longer my other t case was with the slip yoke. i swapped cases and measure. and my old shaft should work if evrything works.. gonna put the two shafts together tom. and see how it fixs wanted to buy new u joints before puttin it in atleast.
