hi guys i have a dilemma i have a 55 f100 272 v8 with factory ford o matic trans the trans quit and i didnt like the way it shifted in the first place ..a friend of mine has a clifford built 300 inline 6 with a aod he wants to trade me the 300 for my 272 good deal???or should i buy a kit and put a aod behind my 272

I'd buy the kit for the AOD for your 272. Why does he want to trade?

i dunno they both run good but trans for the 272 is a pain but mods are too so im torn
