McDonald's drive thru problem

I had to laugh a few days ago when I pulled up to a McDonald's drive thru and tried to order. I tried to order but nobody would answer. Then from around the corner of the building a McDonald's employee took my order from the driver side window. I asked what the problem was, and he told big trucks were to high for the speaker to hear the order. I had to laugh. Ah the joy's of the Big X.

Hey skull,
A little off topic, but how do you like the magnaflow exhaust? Is there any resonance in the cab? I want those or flowmaster 44's, but wanna see if there's any bad droning or interior noise. Thanks

So far So good. Great idle sound, no drone. Can't really hear it in the cab either. When you step on it it sounds good, not real deep, but not a 6 banger either. I'm getting better milage with it also. I have a single stock position tailpipe with a stainless steel tip welded on. Time will tell. It's been on now probably 3 month's or so. I can't remember. Bottom line is I like it.

There are larger problems associated with the McDonlad's drive-thru no matter what you're driving...

HA!!! Jack in the Box by my house has the same problem...I sat for a minute or two waiting for someone to take my order, then drove around to the window and asked ; what gives? The employee leaned out the window and looked at my truck and said.."Uh, your trucks too high so it doesn't set off the alarm" ..Too high..? C'mon! I drive a freakin 250 SD 4x4.stock suspension and all. TOO HIGH.....whatever Guess you have to drive a damn Yugo or something to patronize their establishment.!!!

I've just made it a habit to turn my engine off at drive through restaurants and bank windows. It helps the person processing the transaction and saves me hassle and time because I don't have to repeat the order.
