1978 resto, two issues

Ok guys my 78 resto is about 90% complete. I have a question. I want to put the correct decals in the right places but can not fine any referance for placement. Im talking engine compartment, and cab. I found most of the decals but exactly were do the go?

Also I have a blinker issue: They all work correctly execpt the front left. It blinks with the hazzards, but when I put the left blinker on only the back left flashes, Switch? any Ideas.
If someone will tell me how I will post pic of the resto. I have been trying but can not seam to figure it out.
The truck: 1978 f150 custom shortbox. The original color was the brown which I changed to red. I added a 4in suspension lift but other then that its as it came from the factory.

For the blinker issue, clean all grounds and contacts on the socket. If it still does not work buy a new socket and splice it in. I would say its a fairly common problem for these sockets to start acting up when they get old, especially since you say the light will burn with the Hazzards on but not with blinker on.

Blinker issue

I agree with 79FORDBLAKE. I had the same problem so I cleaned the bulb housing of all the rust on the contacts but it still wasnt enough. Too much corrosion. I bought a replacement housing, spliced it to the old wiring and it started working. Of course if that dosent work you may be low on blinker fluid!!

I found the quote for you

Maintenance: Found also in two locations in glove box all the way to right and under hood just in front of the computer. To me the computer location seems wrong hard to read decal there.

Locking hubs: Sorry have not seen one at all, here with my three trucks or the ones at my families junk yard, and there are (8) 70-79 ford trucks out there.

Seat belts: It goes slightly forward of the door lock **** with the bottom about an 1"-1 1/2" above the window rubber.

I was for two years. I was deployed with the Army. The 35th Signal, and the 40th Signal. I was a DoD employee I maintained the servers for them. I was in Southern Iraq at a base called Bucca. That was the hottest place I have ever been. 145F in the summer!!!

Stickers

My 78 F150 has quite a few of the original stickers still on it. I can take pics and upload them if we can figure out which ones you need the location on. Man four deployments, thats a lot. I met soldiers who have only been on only one their whole career. I hate to hear you are going back. Godspeed be with you. At least its not Afghan.

I just went out and looked at my 79 the maintenance sticker is on the flat spot in front of the cup holder on the glove box door, and my jacking instructions are on the right hand side with the bottom of the sticker towards the door, also I have a coolant sticker on my radiator support on the driver side
