I have been extremely pleased with the Edge Evolution. I run it in #1 tow mode all the time. Motor runs with so much more power, lighter throttle response as well. I noticed a mileage increase as well.
Thanks. Then it's really best he read up on the 6.0 issues before he starts doing any mods. No point in blowing a head gasket from not doing things right. The best tuner for a 6.0 will require headstuds.
I went with banks for my 2003 7.3L. They were great, especially when i had a fight with the Ford dealership. Ford tried to deny my warranty claim due to the banks system being installed and I called Banks. They worked it out for me and even called the dealership to explain why it will not void the warranty. Ford ended up covering it with only the phone call from them. Banks warrants all thier systems (street legal ones) even if you do the install (i did mine). I would at least check it out and make sure you go with one that will back you up in the event something fails.
the one thing the banks does is maintain all the factory limits of safety. Works with the emissions systems and will shut itself off if there is an issue with anything.
Banks is good for little gains but the fact you pay DOUBLE of what you would from other venders and the fact they bash other venders down makes them not worth it. They are corporate sell outs and thats all they are.
