my 6.0 power stroke has full power and runs good but when you reach about 60 mph or more and go to 3000 rpms the wrench light turns on and it goes into limp home mode and runs bad but when you turn it off and start her back up it runs great again. I pluged it into a computer and three ERG codes come up but idk what is going on for sure. any ideas or comments will help alot
Sounds like the turbo is sticking, In the 6.0 section 2 column down from the top is the tech. folder with lots of information including removing and cleaning turbo. As mentioned above posting in the 6.0 section will give you more results..
If you post the code someone can tell you what it is, but most likely the vanes are sticking, they get gunked up with egr, and ccv blowing into the intake..
From the tech folder. TBC codes 06' 07'
P0403 EGR control circuit.
P0405 EGR sensor A circuit low.
P1408 EGR flow out of self test range.
Looks like my guess was wrong, but it sounds like the fix will be much easier. Try cleaning your egr valve. Their is a write up on this in the tech section. With all the information needed. At the very worst you might have to purchase a new egr valve.Lots of guys have done this on here and a search will bring up lots of articles on this.
