Remote Start for diesels
What are you guys using? I don't care to have an alarm necessarily that go with many remote starters. Just need a remote start that won't kill me glow plugs. Thanks!

I have the Viper system with external antennae on my van, has worked well for several years.

The thing that is frustrating is that some websites say some remote starters work with diesels and then another won't even mention diesels.
I am leaning heavily towards just a remote starter, not an alarm

Make sure that the installer is well versed with your diesel system.

I just had a new one installed on my truck, i had an Astro auto Start(Canadian company) for 7 years on mine. My new auto start is a NUStart. Works pretty good, had a couple issues, took it in and they fixed it right up.

How much did you guys pay for install on the Viper, and where did you get it at?
