Newb issues with EBPV maybe
I have a 2003 F250 7.3L and recently have been having problems with the flapper sticking closed after hitting the brake. I have somewhat narrowed it down to when it's between 30F and 40F degrees or so. When it's roughly 30F and below and you hit the brake it opens and I am good to go. I generally let it warm up for a bit before I leave in the morning and when its colder its fine but when its mild temps it just gives me fits. When it sticks it usually takes 3 or 4 minutes to get it to open, during this time I will shut it off and start it back up, give it some pedal what little I can, hit the brake and eventually it goes. Any ideas what I should do with it beside disconnecting it? When it happened this morning it was when I first started it, I didnt let it warm up.
