Temp Sensor????
Hi,
I have a 93 F250 7.3L diesel. I cant find the temp sensor, I think the wire fell off the sensor because the gauge doesn't read anything. I think the gauge still works because it resets its self when you turn it to ON. Ford says its by the #1 cylinder,and then they said it was in the water pump. Any help would be a great help, pictures welcome.

Temp Sensor????
It is in front of the drivers side head, off to the right of the timing gear cover that the injection pump bolts to. It is on the block, not the head.
Try grounding the wire to the neg battery terminal and see if the guage goes up, if it does not then there is someting else wrong.
