SO how do you run the decel tune? Heading down hill just switch to it then back to another setting when you want to accel or just leave it and go?

I have it programmed between the 2 tunes I use the most and when going down hill switch into decel and when slow enough I switch back. Coordinates the ebv and adjusts transmission line pressures and is kind of an inexpensive exhaust brake.

I have the DP and love the decel tune also. Like was said before, there is a variety of good tunners out there, but I chose DP cause of the good things I heard. Give Clay a shout, he'll hook you up. Don't forget your gauges either!

I LOVE my DP F5, but I'll be honest, if I was 20min from Tony Wildman, I'd go with him. Nothing like having your truck live-tuned by one of the best AND they're in your backyard!

You do live close to TW. Tony is one of the top tuners for the 7.3 engines according to Diesel Power magazine.

I love MY DP. There are some great tuners out there. I love my F6 and the ease of having my tunes emailed to me and within minutes being programmed in. Also, getting Live Tuned from Jody in April up here. Should be a fun time.

The smoke, lol. When i'm on 100 horse and lag 3 to od on acceleration she smokes like a 1916 coal locomotive. it's great when an idiot annoys me and I get in front of them. It's great getting nasty looks from liberal tree hugging NYers in thier hybrid toyotas.

I wish I lived 20 minutes from a great tuner.

Tony's re-burns are FREE.

IMO, you won't be disappointed. I want to try his tunes someday.

I'll take you for a ride in my truck tuned by Tony. Of course, I have a bit more than "just" tunes.

Hey man -- thanks for your service. I was over there in '08. Kirkuk. A *real* nice place to spend the summer.
